The spirits had to look wet for three hours without being wet. The answer was pale grey organza with a resin finish over knotted net, so the layers catch the spot like water and dry the moment they leave it. Thirty-six looks, all hand-knotted in the workshop over a winter. The hunter's coat was oiled the old way and smelled of it for the whole run.
