The choreographer gave me one word per room and I gave her one color: cobalt, saffron, moss, vermilion, plum, ochre, ice, rust, ink. The silk is pleated by a workshop in Lyon and hung for a week before it was cut, so the pleats flare on the turn and fall straight on the stop. No two dresses share a dye bath.
